Voxie Tactics Rewards & Earning Series
As AlwaysGeeky Games prepares to launch VOXEL earning later this month, we thought now would be a good time to shed some light on the reward system in Voxie Tactics. We are creating this series of articles to help our fellow players make more informed decisions ahead of rolling out VOXEL earning in our ecosystem.
Our reward ecosystem takes a multifaceted earning approach where various reward multipliers are combined to create your total earn rate. These factors include your PVP ranking tier, the Voxies NFT’s rarity, the type of Voxie NFTs, and a few unique items or companions that can increase your earning rate. We will cover all of these and more in this series!
Part 1 — Introduction to Voxie Tactics Rewards
In this first article, we will explore the base earning rate in Voxie Tactics and how it’s impacted by the Voxies NFTs you bring into battle. We will be contrasting a team of Voxie Recruits (Free to Play characters) to a team of Voxies NFTs both for an unranked player with no special items or any other additional bonus that could apply.
As a starting point, let’s look at the chance of earning a reward in Voxie Tactics. After each match, the winning player gets 4 chances of earning a reward with 5% probability each. This is composed of one chance of earning a bonus VOXEL reward and three additional chances of earning a Voxie Tactics item.
Here’s a breakdown of your chances of earning a Reward when winning a battle:
Next, let’s look at the Voxies NFT reward bonus. In the table below, you can see the percentage increase of adding a Voxies NFT to your party for each rarity tier. By bringing multiple Voxies NFTs into battle, the rates add up to make up your total percentage increase. For example, including 1 Rare (100% increase) and 1 Common Voxies NFTs (70% increase) in your party would give you a 170% increase to your base earn rate.

Now that we know what the base earn rate for Voxie Tactics rewards is and the reward bonus from Voxies NFT, let’s see how this translates to some real-world scenarios.
Let’s use a team composed of 1 Common Voxies NFT and 2 Voxie Recruits as an example. You start with a base rate of 5% to which a bonus of 70% is applied from bringing a common Voxies NFT into battle. The bonus from your team is then 3.5% (70% * 5% = 3.5%). Finally, you add this bonus to the base rate for a total of 8.5% chance of earning each reward (3.5% + 5% = 8.5%).

In this article, we explained a player’s base earn rate in the Voxie Tactics Beta ecosystem and demonstrated how the Voxie NFTs can impact their earn rate. With this information, you will be able to determine how much you can earn when bringing your Voxie NFTs into battle or from loaning to fellow players.
